Back in the Saddle

I have been taking a little time off from the creative side of the business. I am back into it with both feet now. Here is a completed build of the 1971 Bibby Under Eagle that was done for a client. The paint job was easy thanks to Indycals masking template. The rest of the build was straight forward. I am still getting over the sudden shock of Gary Davis passing. I had just talked to him about a week and a half before and there was no indication of anything wrong. I really enjoyed his stories of his band days doing the clubs and cutting records. He was a very accomplished drummer for those of you who did not know this. He was a customer of mine that really supported the resin business. Most of all he was a good friend. I will deeply miss him.

That’s an absolutely stunning build. Great work as always. Like yourself I still feel Gary’s loss. We had been conversing at least once a week on the phone talking about short track racing, Indycars, his time in the bands and in the armed forces and anything in between. I spoke to him just a couple days before it happened and all was normal then too. Trying to get the wife and I to come visit them in Washington. Miss those phone calls.
