Hi I got my next open wheel car finished, the Maserati 250F, world champion 1957 with Fangio. It's a Revival kit with lot's of die cast parts: chassis, suspension, engine, gearbox and the whole cowling. It's an old kit, so the casting quality was... well... ahem. Plastic parts are not much better, but can at least be sanded way more easily. Getting everything to fit is quite some work. If you have the time to model parts for your 3D printer this kit will benefit from them. But I don't want to badmouth the kit that much, it's not that you have that much choice of kits for 50s racing cars and the pre fabricated wire wheels look quite nice. The cowling was pre painted, and I decided to keep the paint. I also didn't clearcoat it, only put the decals on. The only major thing I did was redo the wind screen from some slightly thicker plastic foil. Hope you like it.

Great job! I have always had the utmost respect & admiration for anyone that has completed a Revival kit. I have a half-dozen of them, have started several, but have yet to complete one! Maybe this winter.

Beautifully done ! I have built one Revival kit in my life, they can be rather challenging, you nailed this one.

I agree with Brian and Lance. You did an outstanding job of wrestling one of those kits into a very nice build! I "built" the 1932 Alfa Romeo P3 kit, and I was very tempted to throw it out.

Late reply but a really nice job. I really enjoy models of this era of Gran Prix cars. Thanks for sharing. Jim
