I took a Replicarz 1986 Bobby Rahal winner and converted it into Randy Lanier's 1986 Rookie of the year March.
A lot can be said about Randy and how he financed his racing team but I thought it to be a significant history. I read his book and it's a good edge of your seat read at times. I built this car mostly for fun and when it was done I posted it on a FB diecast & memorabilia site. Not long after that I received an offer to purchase the car. Come to find out a gentleman knew Randy and sent it to him as a surprise gift so I think the model got into the right hands.
