1962 Elmer George Sarkes Tarzian 1/18th Indy Roadster

On this one I took a Carousel 1 Watson Roadster and scratch built the nose. This car was unique in that the nose looked much like the Ferrari Formula 1 Sharknose car. Decals by Circle Track.

Very cool and unique car. Going to learn more about Elmer. I think I have read some it before but not sure if I am clear on his exact history.

The blue and gold is striking. Another lovely roadster!

This car was another truly stunning machine and survives to this day and has been restored to this. I believe that later in its racing life it was also the car in which Mel Kenyon had his horrific accident. Another great build here. So many great builds!!
