Can anyone tell me what is causing this problem. I've never had this happen before.

Have you printed the file successfully before? If so, try using a different USB drive with the printer.

Never seen that happen before, but I'm just a 3d printing rookie.

I've been printing since march and I've had a lot of failures - but every failure was a learning experience. And every failure was user generated. Failing to tighten the build plate, running out of resin, failure to install the build plate. Most failures are due to support issues. But I've never seen a failure like this. This looks like a glitch induced file issue. After I create my CTB files I run them through an app called UV tools - since I started using UV tools my failure rate dropped significantly. I'm probably barely scratching the surface with what it can do. Autodesk Fusion 360 is great for sorting out STL file issue, but if you are using a good slicer it should detect STL file issues and repair simple ones.

I think I have found the problem. The LCD screen has some small vertical cracks. I just ordered a replacement screen so hopefully that solves the problem. Thanks for the help guys.

I couldn't see the cracks until I turned on the light source.
