F1 is too predictable. There is always one unbeatable car. Occasionally we'll get a transitional season like Max's first championship where more than one car can win it. But 9 seasons out of 10 if you aren't in 'the car' you have no shot at the title. Just look back at the last three dominant champions: Hamilton/Vettle/Shumacher. They didn't lose their skill after their last championship - they no longer had 'the car'.

The sooner Max ends up driving a lemon of a Red Bull and the balance of success shifts to Ferrari and/or Aston Martin, the better
