I have been trying to clear out my Shelf of Doom, and this is up next.
I started this Jorgenson kit a very long time ago for the IMS winners display. (I understand the 72 winner had a habit of disappearing) When they pulled the exhibit, I stopped working on it. When I dug it out, it was painted but had no decals applied.
I have also discovered Michaels decals have a shelf life... it's less the 14 years. Some of the decals splintered and I had to fill in with some from a Cady sheet. I think they were Alps printed back in those days. Still, not to shabby.
It's coming along, but I used decal for the wing stripe and it doesn't quite match the front wings... gotta fix that. Also I think the color is too dark.
