I was wondering what everyone's experience has been with regard to the timeliness of Bill J's shipping. I do understand that he has had a death in the family but I've noticed that he now has a number of kits up for auction on eBay so he has had time to do that. The reason I ask is I'm tempted to bid on one but I’m still waiting on another that I bought/won on August 16th. Does he wait until after the auction has ended to actually construct the kits?

Does he wait until after the auction has ended to actually construct the kits? I don't think so. Although there may have been a part missing and he had to make one. He is a one man operation, and it generally takes Bill about 2 weeks to ship something. I live in the same town and it still takes awhile. Bid with confidence though, he always comes through and his kit are excellent.

It has been my experience with Bill that you WILL get your kit, but you won't get it very soon. I can live with that, but I wish he would let us know when we can expect shipment.

This makes me suspect that the construction occurs after the auction has ended. I sent an email to him yesterday asking for an update.

All I know is I buy 'em faster than I can build 'em, so he can take as long as he wants.
