Mustang driven by one P. L. Newman and others at Daytona 24 hrs, 1995. Number on car was his age at the time. They placed 3rd overall, 1st in class.
Model is a Slixx resin body on a Revell transam chassis. Decals from the b-y and parts box.












Panoz GTR-1 LeMans 1998. I saw one of these get beaten by less than half the front straight at Watkins by the Champion Porsche 911 GT1 after hours of racing.
The model is built from a slotbody (Slotracing-werk.de). The body came with headlight covers, a vac interior and dash. Period. Decals from the same source were extra. Underbody and axle arrangements scratchbuilt. Wheels, tires from Revell transam.











And with a descendant the LMP-1 driven at LeMans in 2001 by Mario Andretti
