Here are the resin castings for the replacement parts to do the 70 McClaren F1 conversion kit. Included are accurate tires and rims to replace the horrible kit tires and rims, new shocks, taller roll bar, rear wing, and taller accurate windshield. Indycals decals will also be included. Will keep you posted on a release date. Thanks Kevin

Those all look great, but don't we need the engine cover as well?

Those all look great, but don't we need the engine cover as well? Actually, the car I am trying to represent is Dan Gurney's car in his last formula one race, plus I really like the rear wing set up. Also, there were several different variations of this car in the 1970 season and I am only doing one. Thanks Kevin, Silver City Models

Looks great Kevin.
Any chance you would consider selling the tires alone for those of us who want to build the kit OOB?

Not accurate Heller tires and rims? Down here in Florida, we call that an understatement!

Actually, the car I am trying to represent is Dan Gurney's car in his last formula one race, OK, but the picture you show of Gurney (which I assume is the car you are doing) HAS the engine cover?

Gurney ran the 5th, 6th & 7th races in 1970. Dutch, French, & British GPs. He retired in the Dutch (#32) & British (#10). The middle of the three, the French, he finished 6th (#17). So last race run EVER was car #10, British GP, last race with points won was the French, car #17.

I should add that either version is a great improvement over the kit, but the engine cover opens up more possibilities.
