Hi Everyone,
If you haven't noticed lately, I spend a lot of time with my grandsons. I would like to teach them how to spray paint with both air brush and rattle cans. However, one of the drawbacks to teaching them is that I haven't been able to find a good respirator that's fits them. I have been looking high and low for a good respirator for my grandsons. They are 6 and 8 years old and anxious to learn how to do this! What's sad is that I do most of the painting and then they put the models together with my help. So, really they are doing very minimal work. You would think that something would be readily available, especially in the hobby field! If anyone can recommend something that I could use, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Gary,
I will definitely look into this one! Yes, that is the first ones that I've seen that actually gives you a size chart and I have been looking for a long time!

I hear you on that, Jim. If you go back one page, I think they list their different sizes. First time I've seen that also. Hope this will work out for you and the Boys.

Hi All,
Thanks so much in helping me in the search for a respirator for my grandsons. I was able to find a good mask. I found a 3M mask in size small! I have never been able to find one at Home Depot, Lowes or any other store that would carry them in that size. The smallest I could find was a medium, which was too big. Even my search on line I could not find anyone that offered a small, they were all adult sizes. However, through the help of many of you I was finally able to find a mask that fits snug and offered a good seal for my grandsons! I got the masks the day before yesterday and had a great time trying them on after school yesterday. They were not intimidated by them and are anxious to start learning how to spray paint! Here’s to some Happy Modeling in the future! If any of you need the information, let me know.
