Looks great Juanjo! I do miss your scratch building of cars, but your 3D skills are amazing! Probably a little easier in the long run.

You are the MAN Juanjo! That car looks awesome. What a talent. Great scratch building (what Jim said) and now GREAT 3D printing. Don't forget the painting skills to go along with that. Just fabulous ALL around building skills.

A 1/18 would be great. Because Replicarz doesn't give us nice things.

Water-washable resin? --Frank To clean the parts after they are printed, isopropyl alcohol is usually used, which is very smelly. Recently, resins have emerged with which the parts can be washed under running water, so these are all advantages. And I haven't found it to decrease the resolution.

I agree with you that it is much better to see a traditional WIP build, but I have a lot of fun drawing in 3D and have managed to make builds that would be impossible in a scratch build.

Juanjo, I presume you had to trace all the line work of the original plans in Freecad to create your cad drawing. Is that correct?

Juanjo, I presume you had to trace all the line work of the original plans in Freecad to create your cad drawing. Is that correct? Paul Erlendson Paul, there are parts that can be directly drawn from the original plans such as wings and other parts of constant section. On the other hand, for the bodywork you have to make cross-sections relying on the plans to then build the part, for the wheels you have to make a solid of revolution from a section, etc. Each piece has its own peculiarity. If you search Joko Engineeringhelp on YouTube you will find the best tutorials IMO of Freecad

Dumbstruck.
Well maybe not quite.
As has been said. The design, the finish, the painting and I know the decals are not the work of a moment. Supremely clean and tight.
All the superlatives have been used (that right?) so I will just say,
SUPER!
