Moved from Barney Oldfield Stutz Two Problems: 1. Finally got around to using the letter 3 font from Harveythedog....inkjet printers don't do well on clear decal paper...leaves a transparent finish. Anyone solve this? 2. Anyway I received my order of white paper and printed the letters in red but the ink checked. Anyone have a solution to his. Almost like the white paper is too slick. I was thinking of scuffing it with some 1200 wet or dry paper to see if I could add some bite. I printed over it three times with only slight improvement. Any ideas? Dave

i don't know decal printing as well as some other guys but i'll give you the cabinetmaker angle. scuffing to promote adhesion sounds like a great idea as it seems like the ink is not bonding with the paper and the following coats are floating as well. when i see that mottling effect it causes me to think your flooding on too much ink. make sure the ink has plenty of time to dry between coats. again, their are others who might know better than i but i figure i'd throw this out there in case! duane
