I have been doing research on this as I was interested in the process. Seems like a long, drawn out way to cast something. I can see why it's so expensive.
Is there no other (i.e. simpler) way to cast metal parts? Not trying to be a smart a**, just interested in the process you go through to make a kit.

Creating the mold for spin-casting the white metal parts involves heat and pressure, this requires a master that can stand up to the process. Some parts I will make in brass (if it's within my skills), others I will make from plastic, the plastic parts are the ones requiring the investment casting.

I am still looking for someone to do the investment casting, the guy my white metal guy uses declined to help. I do have another lead that I am chasing but am not sure yet how it will work out.
