Tour type mods are cool. Wonder what the kit is like. Might have to try one out.

Hey Kyle...I bought the first two kits from Warrens hobbies( last week) on ebay. Got them 2 days ago. The kit has very good detail. I scratch built one about 18 yrs ago and this sure hits the Mark. The kit also has great wheels and tires, and the molding of the parts look excellent. I did place an order with Mike (mikes decals) along with the Ryan Newman decal sheet. I had to get the Jimmy Spencer 1996 #23 Camel sponsor decal sheet also, (a Very cool paint scheme) as I want to do a NEW VERSION (fictitious of course) of his NASCAR Modified....

I really appreciate the info. Sounds pretty solid to me. Maybe I’ll order one from Mike’s. I’d be more inclined to build a fictitious one myself but I do like the Newman car. Love your Jimmy Spencer idea too! Problem is My stash is to the point now I’m on the verge of being totally out of room. 😂😂 Just space for a few more kits. Luckily my wife hasn’t murdered me yet.

I ordered one of these kits from Mike's and got it Monday. The instruction sheet says not to use super-glue. Anybody got any idea why? Thanks!

Some brands of CA fog the glass as it off gasses.

Gary Gary, the reason is because the tolerances are pretty tight for everything. The solvent glues help get those tolerances looser by melting the plastic a bit, whereas CA glue adds material and can create fit problems. Art
