He is a regular on F1M but he normally works in 1/12. Good quality work for outward appearances.

Thanks for the cool find, Dan. I just had to get one. I have a few in 1/32 scale but not 24th. This might be a fun curbside build for sure.

Looks pretty good but seems to be missing some bodywork where the back of the cockpit meets the rear deck and also around the roll bar and front of the air intakes. Might try one any way, gotta be better than the old Umi kit!

Ditto to what Jordan said. The proprietor of Mezzo-Mix-Models is Christian Franke of Germany. He also has this kit in 1/12th scale. I believe they are both identical except for the scale. Dave Sorenson ("daves") on F1M.com posted his build of the 1/12 kit at ( forum.f1m.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=32129). mezzo-mix-models.jimdo.com/modelparts-for-sale/porsche-917-10-in-1-12-scale-resin/ (note if you don't read German, you'll need to use what ever translator function available for your browser.) I bought one of this 1/24 scale kit when it was released last year, but have not built it yet. Curbside, but far superior to the old UMI kit I still have in my stash! Since I couldn't find an order form on the site, I used the "Kontakt/Contact" button on his site to send a message to Christian to let him know I would like to order from him. Be sure to state which kit you are interested in and which scale, where you need it shipped to (so he can calculate the shipping cost), and also what type(s) of payment you would like to use. In my message, I said I wanted to pay using PayPal, and in his email reply to me, he included the full cost including shipping, and his PayPay email address to send the order and payment. In the PayPal payment message field, I listed which kit & scale I was ordering, and my name and shipping address. He also just recently released a 1/12 kit of the Porsche 917K coupe, available with either the standard 1970/71 tail (the small wing the Wyer Gulf team used is included) or the 1971 tail with the vertical fins. The photos look amazing, especially at more than 1/3rd the price of the Model Factory Hiro kit! Just FYI I'm going to purchase one of these to make sure my decals fit it properly. "Possibly" - I'll do them in 1/12 as well. But no promises.

I hope your existing decals will fit, as I ordered the L&M set for that car from you. The RC Cola set would be cool too. Thanks Micheal...that's above and beyond.

If my opinion matters  , the Gulf #20 Le Mans car scheme to pay tribute to arguably one of the best racing movies of all time would be wonderful! I already have your L&M 917/10 decals in 1/24 that I purchased years ago for the UMI kit, but I've been planning to order a couple more of that sheet from you for the Mezzo-Mix kit, just in case I screw up applying them! Just haven't gotten around to placing the order yet. Thanks for considering making those or any decals for that 1/12 917K kit, Michael. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Cameron |

Even just the 917/10 will be appreciated. I’ll keep an eye out for word when you’ve make sure they will fit the new kit. Will you post it some way, or update the page on your site saying they will fit? Just so I know what to watch for.
BTW, your new sheet for the Mitsuwa Porsche 936 is beautiful. A friend included the sheet for the Dijon version for me on his order he placed a couple weeks ago. Thanks much.
