Quick question, on the 86 Bud car there is what looks like an air intake at the rear of the car. I was going to use the Al Sr. Cummins car for the Bud build, but it doesn't come with that piece. Where / how can I get that piece so it looks right and what is it glued to on the engine / frame? Thanks,

it was the air intake for the turbo.

I scratch built mine. I thought it was a scoop to cool the gearbox! I glued mine to the engine cover.

I scratcbuilt mie, too. Just a bunch of sheet styrene glued together and sanded to shape. I didn't have any good reference, I just sort of eyeballed it and stuck it on such that it looks good enough to me. And here's a lesson on why one should always spray primer - I didn't, and you can see where I filled that hole on the cowling through the red paint!

I used an old Tamiya F1 brake duct for mine.
