It would seem that with the number of Lotus 25's and Honda RA262's that have been sold over the years that have been sold over the years that Tamiya would be keen on bringing a few more 60 F1 cars to market in 1/20th scale. I just don't get it.

How cool would Gurney's Eagle be? It would be sick (as in real good). It makes you wonder why no one as ever done this car. Its probably one of the most famous cars never to be modeled in history! Though I suppose its been done in 1/43. But those are just too small.

I here you on 1/43. If I could see that well I'd have all the Marsh Can Am cars I could afford. You'd think with all the marketing efforts aimed at the baby boomers the model companies would jump in with some race cars. I also agree on the historical significance of the Eagle.

I could not agree more about a 1/20 Gurney Eagle. In the meantime, check this out for new 1/43rd Eagle models: www.truescalemini.com/I bought the #36 car at Road America this summer and they also have a three car set of the Spa, and Brands Hatch winners and the Nurburgring shuddabeenawinner. It's a real high quality model.
