Morning all. Breakfast. GP2 on the box and a win at Silverstone for young Logan Sargeant. He won in GP3 there two years ago and did the biz today. First American to win in GP2. Good job. Accomplished drive. You will likely be able to watch it on you tube later. But what I was really happy about was that a nasty accident resulted in no injuries. Halos have more than earned their place on these cars..... The car on top T boned the other at helmet level after being launched over a sausage kerb. Keep the halo, lose these kerbs.

Nasty accident but mild by comparison when looking at the GP start crash.
Say it again.
All hail the halo.........

Outside of the first lap crash, I thought the F1 race was pretty entertaining. Both the F1 race and the Indycar race had some no holds barred teamate on teamate dicing. More of the same please.

We get our live Indycar fix over here on Sky F1.
What with it being the BGP and the late running they extended the post race programme so when they cut to Mid Ohio there were only five laps left to run!
Off to find the highlights on that U tube thing.
