What would you guys recommend for an good adhesive that would allow for some repositioning prior to hardening? I'm working with resin. Thanks

5 min. epoxy works well and is my favorite as long as I do not have to hold the parts until the gue sets. Extra slow setting cyanoacrylate (super glue) offers 10-25 sec. working time.

My favorite for resin and metal in any combination is J B Weld. The original grey in tubes. You can go with the quick 5 minute or the original. It’s quite thick, but workable. It’s also very forgiving in mixing the two parts. You don’t have to have two absolutely perfect portions. It also files and sands very satisfactorily.

Epoxy I find best. Can be a bit messy if not used to it, but the more you use it the better you get with judging the mix you need and you will get neater in applying it with practice. When set it is strongest overall but parts alignment need support whilst it is setting. Cyano also has its used and is good for attaching PE detail parts etc and good flat face to face application.
