It's been awhile since I've been able to complete a project, it's been a busy, busy time with work and a lot of various other projects keeping me from the model bench, but I managed to get this of my workbench while other projects are shortly behind. It's my replica of the Audi R8 Alex Job Racing entered for the 2017 Daytona 24 Hours. Alex Job Racing entered the IMSA GTD class for its final campaign in 2017, after a highly successful nearly 30-year run in the highest levels of American sports car racing. They campaigned an Audi R8 in a partial schedule, starting with the Daytona 24 Hours, where they finished sixth in class (23rd overall). I built this from the NuNu kit, and it is essentially out of the box. The only changes I made to the car was replacing the kit tires with Indycals Continental rain tires (a massive upgrade-I highly recommend them), slightly adjusting the ride height to get the car a little lower, and using S.K. decals. I painted the car Tamiya pure white and painted the black on the front fender. The car is a fine kit, there are a few fit issues with the glass and the chassis, but if you're patient, they don't pose much an issue. Thank you for looking!

Jerry: Your usual superb job! Great paint and decals. Trying to keep up with GTD cars in an IMSA race is tough. I see like 7-8 manufacturers and they all, for the most part are competitive…Again, a beautiful job! Tim

Great job on the it, Jerry. It is a mean looking car and a fitting tribute to a team with a long legacy.
IndyCals' parts are a great addition to our hobby, glad Michael is making parts for all types of race cars.
