I used two sheets of Scalemotorsport decals with the clear backing. The decal material was fantastic to work with; nice and thin and conformed beautifully with some decal soft to every curve that this model had. I made templates using cheap dollar store painters masking tape, ( that was the hardest part of this build ), applied them to the back but after that it was a whole lot of fun applying the cut out decal templates. This is one of my more unique builds I've ever done.

Now that's a mind blowing paint scheme. Great job on applying the decals Mike.

Thanks guys. What I found interesting is how when I was looking at the pictures on the computer screen, I right away noticed that the dazzle pattern decal really does hide a lot of the contours of the car. When you see the model car with the naked eye you can discern body shapes and panels and angles, especially around the engine cover area, but the camera just doesn't do that nearly as well, which is the whole purpose of the stuff. Kinda cool to see for myself how well it works. No wonder car companies use those camo wraps.
