And no, I won’t scratch build one. After the Cadillac, I’m out of plastic!

And no, I won’t scratch build one. After the Cadillac, I’m out of plastic! LOL...I hear you on the Plastic thing Dan. Man...what a different style of Indy car that is. Davey must have a SIZE 10 boys to even think about high speeds in that. Thanks for posting this. Very interesting read. Now...for part 2...

Thanks for this. Being from Boise, Ken Hamilton was a big name in local racing so his trying to make it at Indy was a big deal. I remember his interviews on local radio about that diabolical car.

About 7 years ago, Lance reached out to me about this car. The car is owed by Ron Hemmelgarn and was in the lobby with a bunch of other Hemmelgarn cars (Mostly Buddy Lazier cars) in his Health Spa in Toledo Ohio. I drove there and asked the guy at the desk if I could take photos and measurements of the car and he said sure. I climbed all over that car making sketches and taking measurements and photos. Gave it all to Lance after that. Not sure if Lance ever did anything with them but maybe he will chime in.

I have been working on a scale drawing, I do want to do this but have so many projects going already.
