Not a race, but a quick visit.
I have a work trip near Indy and (good Lord willing) I am currently planning on driving over to stay in Indy Friday night through the afternoon of Sunday next weekend - Feb 25-27.
Top priority is IMS Museum with their Rick Mears exhibit and the IMS Photo Shop. I know it is a bad weekend to drop into town during the IndyCar season opening weekend but any suggestions on things to do, if time allows?

Hey Jordan! Indy is a great city and I enjoy living in its vicinity, however it can be a little short on things to do when there aren’t events. Apart from drinking, there’s not much to do here. 😂😂😂 Some good restaurants all around town. I like to eat. 🤷🏻♂️. Some ok other museums like the museum of art and the Eiteljorg. I believe that’s the weekend of the boat, sport and travel show at the Fairgrounds if you want to window shop some outrageously expensive boats. Lol. Looks like the Pacers are in town that weekend if you like basketball and the field house is a cool venue if you don’t mind watching a bad team and overpriced concessions. That’s about all I’ve got off the top of my head.

Event or otherwise.
Envious.....
Whatever you find to do, whoever you do it with. Should be a good trip. Enjoy!

Been a Hoosier my whole life and I’m happy enough living where I do, about 25 miles southeast of Indy in flyover country. But it does get a little grim around here in winter. Lol. If I weren’t in Naples for work I’d have also recommended grabbing some dinner!
