For the belt material you can use crafting ribbon - I buy white in the right width and color to match my project since belts can be red, blue, black, etc

Modelers makes a set in 1/20th scale. Comes with belt material and photoetch. The difference from 1/18th to 1/20th is minimal on seat belts.
Go to eaby and type in 1/20 seat belts and about 10 or 12 come up. Blue, black red. They are all there.

Hey Stu and gang!!!
I discovered this wonderful medical tape years ago after one of my many knee surgries.....It's made by Johnson & Johnson called dermicel, hypoallergenic cloth tape....It's great for seatbelt material. It comes in many sizes and can be painted real easy. It's great to work with too.
