The Gordy and Swede cars......When did they paint those front/rear wings? Mid week before race?

Reason why I ask is, some photos show reg stp orange wings and others show -for instance on Gordy's.. the front wings white with white end plates rear..Swede's are black.
What gives?

Very normal for distinguishing the cars during the race - it was quite common for cars to look quite different on race day from practice/qualifying. Even today you still see it a lot.
