This is my first ever resin kit. I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew but once I got into it I found it to be no problem. I had picked a color scheme that I thought would challenge me a bit, ( and it certainly has! ), but so far, so good. Its Stefan Wilson's car. Looking great! I'm glad you are getting it handled. To be transparent, this kit I made needs some test fitting. I designed this kit 5 years ago and I was still was learning. It looks good when finished but you got to fight a bit. Be sure to test fit the rear wheel kickup pods and rear suspension.
As long as you clean and test fit everything, it will come together.

I probably didn't test fit stuff like I should have, but I will cross that bridge when I get to it. I have to tell you that the front wing nose piece you cast is one delicate, beautifully done piece. I will have to be so careful when I start assembly that I don't accidentally damage it. I am about to pull tape off and see how my 6 coats of black turned out. The anticipation and hope of no bleeding under tape is killing me, so here I go.

Yes! Good ol' Tamiya Tape. Only a couple of really tiny spots where it bled under the tape!  |

Thats my brother in law this summer off of a place called Neck Point in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. I was hoping to delete this photo before anybody saw it but no such luck. I just posted a question about deleting photos in the General Section. It is a nice fish though isn't it? 17 pounds

Hey Mike...The car REALLY looks GREAT! That paint scheme is flat killer. You did a great job with it.
A 17 pounder...and it did look like a West Coast Salmon. Don't delete it...it's way too cool!!!

Maybe I can put some Sunoco stickers on it?? The fish that is. Thanks Gary. It was definitely one of the tougher paint jobs I have ever done. I wish I had painted the blue stripes too but oh well.

The Gap Guard car looks great. You did a really good job on the paint and details.
