Centauria from Italy newstand IXO Hachette 1/24th F1 coming models have an extension from 61 to 80. Some interesting cars and 8 more World Drivers champion cars. I like the extra odd cars such as the Arrows A2, Tyrell 011(I suspect Detroit) and Ligier JS 11.
If you do not know how good the quality of these F1 models is you owe yourself a purchase of one. The last Brabham BT45 model is stunning, although the real car was not very good.

The latest 1/24th Hachette Italian newstand model Brabham BT44 and BT45 are maybe the best yet with rivet detail all over the chassis. You can tell IXO/Hachette are model people(also make Bellkits) Some of the best F1 models I have seen.

Rumors are that Hachette Italy will release another 1/24th F1 series next week. So we have the first 60 F1 le grande, the F1 Ferrari and now another 1/24th F1 series. I hope they complete the world drivers championship 1950-2023 with the 3rd F1 1/24th series!!!
The 1/24th Hachette Italy March 711 1971 is out and it looks great. One of Ronnies early F1 drives. Next up number 60, the Lotus 49B, Mexico winner high wing version.

Next two listed in the le grande Italy 1/24th Ferrari series are the F300 1998 and 1958 Dino Ferrari 246 F1 champion. Should have an update on the next 1/24th IXO/Hachette F1 series soon.

Collection now extended to 100 1/24th F1 cars!!!
Maybe when we get to 100 1/24th F1 cars they will extend it again That list that was given a month or so ago might be pretty accurate, so with the added new cars we are still missing 15 or so cars.
Getting closer to a complete 1/24th F1 drivers championship collection!!

Latest update on the Hachette 1/24th Ferrari F1 series. They are doing the 500F2, 312B3, 126C2, 312 T2 and T3....I think we should have almost all the Ferrari F1 cars by the end of this series. They vary, but most are very good and others amazing for diecasts.1956 D50 is out at the end of October. www.centauria.it/piano-opera/le-grandi-ferrari-f1

That Brabham Just came through. It is quite lovely.
Jordan I will need your address again.......
f1tommy. You keep these updates coming.
Ligier JS11, Tambay Renault and Peterson March on my hitlist.
T2 1977 and T3 on the other. But really want a T5, C2b and/or C3 to be on that list.
I am lucky enough to be going to Imola at the end of October for a GT race. Trips to Maranello and Modena planned. Taking half a suitcases worth of clothes. Leaving them there and coming back with a case full of metal!

FYI, Museum Collection has a number of decals made for the Hachette 1/24th F1 models for those wishing to add details. The 126CK wheel and photoetch/decal T-kit is also still available and it is very nice indeed!! www.museumcollection.jp/product-list/46

Hachette added the LOTUS 80 Mario Andretti 1979 to the 1/24th model release list. They say there will be an extension of 20 cars to the regular F1 car collection along with a 20 car extension to the Ferrari F1 1/24th collection. That makes a total of 200 1/24th F1 cars in the collection. I think IXO will continue their own 1/24th series of F1 cars also. Maybe use the news stand models to do a complete world champion collection in 1/24th scale for the entire world, not just Italy and a few other lucky countries.

LOL.
This one almost feels like a PM conversation.
Ferrari F1 series of cars will now be available in the UK but I keep buying them from Italy. Latest coming is one I did not think they would do. The 1983 Ferrari 126 C2b. Like it! Now ill they bother with the second half of the season 126 C3?
Lotus 80 sounds great.
Seem to be almost too many collections bouncing around now! Bring it on.

Photo up for the Hachette 1/24th Brabham BT24 1967 Drivers Champion car, a lot better than the old metal British kit X 10!! It looks very good, like most of the newer Hachette 1/24th F1 models now. This is an amazing collection in the making. With Ferando Pinto FPPM also making 1/24th open wheel cars, we now have our hands full in 1/24th scale open wheel models!! For the F1 Drivers Championship in 1/24th scale we need the 1951 159, a good 1954/55 W196 cigar body, 1966 BT20, 1971 Tyrrell 003, McLarens from 1986, 1989, 1990 and 1998, the 1996 Williams and Renault 2004 double win year cars and that brings us up to 2009 or the first 60 years. After 2009 Hachette is doing them all. Other than 1/43rd no other scale has that many available. I think we will get them all in 1/24th from Hachette!! Hachette now has 200 1/24th F1 cars planned in the huge series Series list link: www.centauria.it/piano-opera/leggendarie-auto-da-corsa-le-grandi-formula-1

Brabham BT24 and Ferrari 126 C4 are out and they look great. Also, photos of the Shadow DN9 are up. Pattos Place makes the lion decal for this car in 1/24th scale. By the end of this year in the 1/24th Ferrari collection we have the Ginther 246 1960 rear engine and 312 B2 coming along with the F93 and several others, and that is just the Ferrari F1 collection. So, 200 cars Hard to beat. Wishing for a complete 1/24th F1 drivers champion set.

So now the people at Hachette are spreading rumors the regular 1/24th F1 series will go to 140 cars and the Ferrari series 100 cars, for a total of 240 1/24th F1 cars. I think we will get 1 F1 Ferrari from every year and all the Drivers' Championship cars in 1/24th scale. Add FPPM and Fernando Pinto and we will also get most of the pre war open wheel Driver Championship cars in 1/24th scale along with several Indy cars. Add to that almost everything outside of F1 cars in either 1/43rd, 1/24th or 1/18th you might want to re consider 1/24th scale for everything in the larger scales as they make a lot of model kits in 1/24th scale and almost no 1/18th scale model kits. Even the Renault Espace F1 minivan model kit is 1/24th scale.
Mike Quarterman of UMI's dream is finally coming true. I wish he had lived long enough to see it happen. He did get the first few Hachette 1/24th scale F1 models before he passed away.

Tommy
Very much appreciate the heads up on all of these. Having to be very selective in what I buy because some Italian sellers use UPS and they keep stiffing me on additional delivery charges......
The Ferrari 126 C3 might be my last one but so much tempting material here.
Thanks again.

I want to get all the drivers' championship cars up to 2010. And more Ferrari's, but after a while I may stop with the post 2010 cars other than Ferrari. They look to huge and Awkward. I love the old stuff from the 1960'-1990's best. BRM's, any of them, F92 and F93 and the 312B2 I can't miss. So many pre 1990 cars I would buy.
