Waiting for Ferrari parts, I decided on something totally out of character to keep me busy.

It was going to be OOB, but I really don't want that overweight tank, so I'm trimming it down to an Electraglide sports tourer.

Thanks Kyle. Not taking it far, just using the box bits and probably leaving a lot of them off. A little progress:

Only mod so far is conversion to a single exhaust (the other side is mostly for show anyway, and I'm trying to shed weight).

Headlight pod painted to match bike, as I'm probably going to delete the cowling etc.

Looking great. I love the idea of leaving the cowling off. Should be a nice, clean, sleek look like that.

All done. All parts are from the kit, just re-tasked a bit. Deleted the cowl, luggage bins, all the chrome tube framework, bush bar, chrome trim from the fenders. On a 1:1 bike I knocked off well over 100# of junk.

Fun kit to build. Nice change when all the parts fit perfectly!

I'd build more if I can find them at a decent price, but they seem to be a bit nuts most of the time.

Yep. Looks just as good as I thought it would. Love the color choice on this bike and I love the single exhaust too. Such a clean look.

The colour is maroon with 3 coats of pearl clear. It's a rare build where I get a chance to get fancy so I get carried away, lol.
