I am finishing a model of Buddy Rice's 2004 Indy winner. I need some help with decal identification and placement. There are decals on each side pod behind the MBNA ones which I cannot identify. I also cannot find a picture from the back showing what might on the back, lower side of the rear wing as might be seen by other driver behind. I appreciate any help. Thanks. Jim

I can't say for certain what it is, but I can say with 100% certainty Mobil 1 was not on that car

Is this car still on display at the IMS Museum? I live close enough I may have to make a trip to find out.
Thanks for trying to sort this out. I am not going to put anything on right now. I can go ahead an finish it and add the decal later.

On the scoring pod behind the left front wing, directly on that "bump" is a "in memory of...." decal i have NEVER been able to identify. Dosnt clarify the mystery decal, but i dont know where else to look for a pic of that decal.
I have seen a show car ( maybe) with that decal, but i haven't found a good shot of it.
Perhaps a museum car has it.

Might start at the photo shop. I prefer race day photos over restored winners. They all miss details - Ganassi, Penske, etc.

LOL... I spoke too soon. Checked my reference pics and it was in fact on the car on race day. So much for 100% certainty lol.
