Does anybody have any sources for the frame of a mid 50's Kurtis Kraft roadster?
I could copy the Watson, but I don't think they were all that similar. I can't find any decent photos of these cars with the body off. Any help would be appreciated.

Which model Kurtis from the 50's ? The 53, 54, 55 Indy winners would be ideal, Lance.

Forgot to mention, I have several of the Clidinst drawings for the KK500, there could be differences from car to car even on the same model designations.

Thanks Lance, it's very helpful. It confirms my suspicions that the Watson's were quite a bit more intricate. These cars are by no means my field of expertise, I just like them! So any info is probably new to me. I'm looking at the feasibility of using the old Monogram kit, which has a decent body, and I have some upgrades from Micheal to go with it, but putting a frame inside it, or at least the parts that would show with the hood open. Something equivalent to the Watson roadster from MPC. It's obvious the Watson frame is not authentic enough plus it's the wrong scale anyway. This will put my scratch building skills to the test so any help is most welcome. Also a decent 1/24th Offy engine would be a big help!
cheers Paul

The last time I was in Glendale Ca. Kurtis Kraft still had a shop there maybe a couple of years though. Check 411 Kurtis Kraft may still have drawings or helpful info. Chris
