I just took this kit out of stock. Poor quality AMT model: coarse casting very bad adjustments Before false False wheels unusable decals etc ............. In short, a kit that I should not have taken out, but hey I'll try to make something "drinkable" (at least I hope) The real one who won the 500 miles in 1974  The box:  décal ordered at Indycals  Beguinning of build elongated front and front wing end redone finer than those in the kit              |

That's really looking good Lascar. I just started Sellars M16 Mclaren kit. Doing Gary Bettenhausen's 72 Indy car. If mine turns out as good as yours,I'll be tickled pink...we'll...maybe just tickled.

I am disappointed and annoyed by this kit. Despite all my efforts it does not hold on its 4 wheels !!!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna do it at the stand with one wheels off
I can't wait to finish this F..king kit !!!!!
if anyone has pictures of the lifting system of these indy

Really good looking McLaren. Kudos on all the extra work on making this inaccurate kit look right.
