The passing of a remarkable man.
Whilst he and his team achieved so much over the years I recall being very excited as a boy
when he fielded that svelte FW06 in 1978 and thinking he might have just got it right this time.
Everyone around me who knew better said it would not last given his track record.
So pleased when they broke thru the following year, not for my personal satisfaction, but for
someone who tried so hard who finally got there and then once there, had the nouce to stay there,
even when his personal circumstances changed so dramatically.
The fact that there are so many mass produced plastic kits of various Williams car says allot to me.
