I have a confession to make. I love motorcycles. I used to ride bikes, and I used to race bikes - 250 and 350 Ducati's. I was very young and quite nuts back then. So now, I also build bikes. So far, my NSR 250:
and imjur just disappeared!

Heck NO Paul!! Those look very fast just sitting there. Now...are these two replicas of the bikes that you raced? They sure look good!

I wish!! No, I raced one of these
That's not my bike, but it's a (restored) identical twin. Ducati 350 Sebring.
Just club racing stuff in Ontario, Quebec and the US Northeast.
My street bike was a Suzuki GS600 SuperSport. That ended when I met my wife - to - be. She's terrified of bikes, and convertibles.

Paul, great job on these bikes. They really packed with modeling details to look over. The 350 Sebring has a great look to it, must be a ton of fun to lean into!

Paul: I have been amazed at how many great drivers started in motorcycles…Surtees and Joe Leonard come to mind quickly, but don’t forget Nuvolari, Varzi (first Italian to race the Isle of Man TT!),Rosemeyer, Alberto Ascari, Jean Berra, Jean Pierre Beltoise, and Damon Hill(!)… These are very well done: thanks for posting! John Surtees was by far my favorite driver of all time, met the man several times over the years. He was a truly decent person not to mention his riding and driving skills. Add Bandini to your list, he started out as a biker too..

Building bikes is also a great way to improve your modeller's skills. These Tamiya kits are packed with detail, but you have to be patient and very precise. They fit perfectly, but only if you are. If you're off just slightly, later on you'll be sorry!! Lots of AM available for them if you want to spend your life's savings...
