I have finally finished my build of Lances 63 MT. A simple kit by Indycar standards, it gave me no end of trouble. It is the only auto build that ended up on the "Shelf of Doom". Now that it's finished, I have to admit most of the troubles I had were of my own doing. So here it is, warts and all...  |

All of my builds have warts. I think my display is mostly just one big shelf of doom. 😂 I think that looks pretty good and it’s such a unique car anyway. Cool one to have on the shelf! Nice job.

I dont know that any build is 'perfect'. You had fun, maybe learned something and i think its a nice car. Enjoy.

Really nice build. Hypothetically ( big word of the day) if you did it again what would you watch out for or do differently?

Sometimes I display the model in such a way that my errors can’t be seen. Ha. Coincidently I just started yesterday on this very same kit. So, yEs, please advise pitfalls. If glue fingerprints, paint runs or decal bubbles, well, I usually am able to accomplish those very easily.

There is no problem with the kit. I just had trouble with the suspension and the way it's designed. The car still has no lower rear suspension. (I destroyed it during my ham fisted attempts)
I'm gonna have to scratchbuild one I guess.
