I have some sad news to report. My friend Dennis Koleber has passed away. Some of you here may have met him over the years. He was well known in the model building world. The following is from his obituary regarding his model car building.
His lifelong hobby of building models — mostly race cars — led him to become a 14 time world champion master model builder with multiple “Best in Shows”. His reputation and artistry led to invitations for exhibits at multiple vintage car races around the country where he met, interviewed, and befriended some of history’s greatest drivers and owners. This passion led to a successful profession that continued his whole life.
May God bless him and his family.
Tony

Thanks for sharing his website. His cars are very impressive. I also liked his very detailed P51. So sad for his family. RIP

Very sad. Dennis used to show up at the Road America historical races selling models to car owners. We also lost Mike Quarterman last month of UMI and MRRM.
