I had the slot car version of this beaut, but will not say anything to keep the game going. Trimline self adhesive black for all the thin key lines? Or is it all decals? And if so where did you find that particular decal set?
Looking forward to the finished model.

I had to use Google for a few minutes to figure it out. Will not spoil it for those that actually know this car.

Without any help, it's the 1987 Bayside Budweiser 962

Gents: You know your IMSA cars….So I present “Cecilia”… Bobby Rahal won the 1986 Indy 500 in a Budweiser car…10 months later, he teamed with Jochen Mass in the Bruce Levan Bayside/ Budweiser at the Sebring 12 hour…which they won… These decals are from M & S Hobbies…I don’t know if they are still around (They have a FB page)…perhaps someone knows how to contact them? It has been a wild and crazy decaying job! Comments, questions welcome! Thanks for stopping by! Tim

Gotta laugh with Calvin…I wondered how he knew this car, but then remembered he made transkits for IMSA Porsche 962’s and has probably seen EVERY LIVERY ever made for 962’s…

Yeah, IMSA GTP cars are important to me, so its easy to know what car it was. Looks fantastic. Those bodies are hard to find nowadays. I'm sure I'll eventually make a Bud conversion kit happen in the future.

And she (“Cecilia”) crosses the finish line… Some of the decals had multiple stripes, but most are “singles”… Rahal and Mass pretty much controlled the race, winning by 2 laps…962’s were 1,2,3, and 4… Mass was a Porsche team driver, but won LeMans in 1989 with Sauber Mercedes…he had 2 second place finishes at LeMans(1981-1982)…he also won the 1975 Spanish Grand Prix in a McLaren.. An iconic car, a good resin kit, and lots of blood, sweat and tears…thanks for stopping by! Questions, comments welcome! Tim

Tim, Gutsy to show that front view. Any stripes a little out of line would stand out. But all your lines are aligned. Very nice model. Dan

Individual stripes?? What? A nice build and the decal work is impressive.
