1/43 2020 Indy 500 Winner Kit Build

This might be one of my favorite 1/43 kits to build. Good fit, good castings, resin, white metal. Just great to work on. Only thing I did not like was the vacuform aeroscreen. Spent a lot of time figuring out the right color blue to match the blue of the decals. Finally settled on Gaianotes pure cyan #33.

Great job, Woody! I love the details including the tearoffs on the aeroscreen. The color is beautiful.

Where did you get that base? A great way to set this car off!

The base is a BBR and then I found a 1/43 scale brick pattern sticker on eBay. I checked the scale and measured, counted the rows of bricks (nine, in case anyone wondered).

For the tear-offs, I actually had some decals custom built for another car (2021 Rahal) and put those in on to see how they would work.
