First post. Long time model builder. Primarily drag and Nascar subjects along with anything Mopar. I'm interested in almost anything race related. I've never been much into Indy cars, especially from model building standards. I did build one many years ago back when my modeling skills were still in their infancy. Then, a few months ago, as I was working on some Petty Nascar projects, I remembered that I had an old Monogram STP Lola kit laying around and I thought that it would make a nice partner build on the shelf with the STP markings. I built it and now I'm hooked to build more.

Neat! Welcome aboard! Oval track race cars are similar to drag cars- you just need to remember to turn left 4 times per lap. LOL

Wayne, it is great to see you on this forum after seeing your work on the Randy NASCAR forum. I am glad you loved your first open wheel build. Looking forward to what else inspires you.
Feel free to come back regularly, it is a great place.

Welcome Wayne. A little bit of everything here from plastic, to resin to diecast. We even have a misc. section where you can share some of your NASCAR builds. Would love to see them!
