Evening Fellows, just something that has bugged me for awhile: Does anyone know who this guy is? Seen him in a lot of photos of the Formula 1 teams of the 60's. Always all over (and under) the cars. Seems he worked with Bandini a lot. Lorenzo Bandini was and is my Favorite Ferrari drivers of all time, my models will be in tribute to him. Mechanics are cool and unrecognized for their efforts. Hope he is recognized I think He's Cool! Thanx for Listening, John.

Haven't a small clue who he is. I Know that he is a real mechanic for sure...upside down and under the dash.

Yes, thanks for the jolt. That's Bosari. He's still alive. Wrenched for Maserati then to Ferrari until his retirement. The things he must have seen and heard while all that rose around him!

Did get my 'fratelli' in Italy on this but bit slow coming back. Yup. Giulio Bosari. One of the lads sent this as well. Damn. Looks like he should have been in the movies.....

Thanx, Brother Automotive Historians! After we're gone who will pass down the knowledge of OUR Time. Everyone thinks "Their" Times were the BEST just like music, clothes, movies, sports etc. So, Worship those times and Heroes, for memories will fade away just like our Brain cells. getting harder day by day to come up with a name or remember a place, getting so I look around a photos for clues to where or when it was not just the car. Spent ALL day 0830 - 1600 everyday this week downloading old photos from my Navy life onto the computer. Putting old buddies and places in folders, many shot with a 110 (remember those) camera are useless so get trashed and anything running on a track in standard lens 35 mm are useless. Lots of wasted time and money doing that but thought it would be of value someday. Motorcycles and cars from around the World I shot but useless now except for memories. Still "Our Time" whenever that was, was our favorite. Share your knowledge while you can! "Guilio Borsari": Thanx Patrick! What a Character and an Immortal in the World of Motorsports. Thanx, John

I have always been able to remember odd things like 250 means a screaming 3 liter V12, "Taffy" was von Trips, and to get Niki Lauda's autograph just address him as "Herr Lauda" (I got his at USGP/West!). For me its a struggle, but as Roy Batty says, "All those memories will be lost in time. Like tears in rain."
