Fantastic!
Any tips on disassembling the HotWheels cars? I pretty much stalled out in trying to take mine apart non-destructively. I see you were able to separate the antennae, mirrors, flugals, and driver where I was not. You've also worked on the rims it appears.

Steve,
Here are a few tips on taking the hotwheels cars apart.
The body: remove all of the screws from the bottom of the chassis. Once you have the top of the chassis off use a hobby knife and trim the flugals along the inside of the body. Once all of the melted over plastic is removed they should just slide out. I used a small punch to push the mirrows out from the back side. The antenna I did similar to the flugals and then used a tiny pointed punch to push them out from the back side also. All items will be super glued back side after they are reinstalled.
Wheels: I pulled the rear wheels off of the metal shaft. The fronts were alot more difficult. I used a set of needle nose vise grips. I clamped onto the front wheel nut.Carefully slowly rotate it back and forth. This will break the part. At this point I will drill out the hub and the back of the wheel lug and insert either a piece of plastic or metal rod and will reattach the front wheels. I also removed the tires from the wheeels. I will be using spare Indycals decals for tires. I will decals the tires after they have been remounted on the wheels after they have been painted and detailed.
Rear wing: This was tricky also. I used a punch and pushed the 2 mounting points through from the back side also.
I will post pics as this projects progresses.
