Gents.
Got a mate from England living not far from New York who at the age of 56 has decided to get into building open wheelers! Never too late I guess. He has a line of 1/20 Tamiya kits ready to go.
He has started with a 1976 McLaren M23 but needs the tobacco logos.
I can source them for him here easy enough but he is well keen to get on so wondering if anyone knows of a supplier in the U.S. who might hold appropriate decals in stock so they can get to him quicker. All my searches so far have led me to England France Italy and Hong Kong!
Thanks chaps.

First stop was Indycals and then Calvins site. Always happy to support my local sheriff!
Calvin's offerings do not specify 1/20th so I wondered about the sizes.
But all else failing I will go back and order a smattering across the scales for my mate. Guess that would work.
I know it could wait but my pal is in the zone and we have all been there......

I forgot about Mac! Have your friend try him, he only lists one sheet for the M23 in stock, but his site isn't always up to date. I always call or write to ask what is available, sometimes he has more than he realizes! www.macsmodeling.com/1-20%20Decal%20STORE.htm

Gentlemen.
Thank you. Again.
I had completely forgotten about Mac's Models. Had stuff from him before a good while back. Nice shout. I know his stock numbers can sometimes not be up to date so lets see what he says.
Calvin, cheers for the heads up.
It is funny but I do know there are differences in the logo itself with the middle L and B being just as tall or taller that the leading M depending on what car they were on and what period they were used. Guess a good number on here would have spotted that by now but if you are new to doing anything in that red and white scheme look closely at your reference. It is subtle but it can make a difference.
