Anyone have a target on what would be the best color of blue for Sato’s winning 2020 IndyCar? Thanks.

I am getting ready to start this car as his manager ordered one vs. going with the Greenlight. He said Takuma like my 2017 winner I did for them much better than the Greenlight version. The color looks pretty close to the blue that I used on the the 2016 car I did for them. That would be Alclad Candy Electric Blue over Alclad Bright Silver Candy Base. Might be a tad lighter waiting on info back from my contatc at RLL before making my final choice.

Thanks. I will not be starting the car for a few weeks but getting my ducks in a row.

Is there anyone making decals for this car?

On Twitter there have been a ton of detail shots posted as both cars are being displayed in Japan currently. The 2020 blue looks a bit deeper when compared to the older one. I think it might be related to the true blue company’s people ready brand. Anxious to see what you find out lazierfan.
Terry, the only decals I have seen are at Romu.

So I was able to order the MFH 1/20 scale car directly from MFH and had it delivered to a workmate whose parent live in Japan. I also ordered the 1/43 version from Romu as well. Both are on boats from Japan to me now. Unfortunately the only delivery for packages using Japan Post is surface which requires a boat ride. So looking forward to their arrival. It is not that I don’t have plenty of other things to build, I just really want to build the newest one. And especially in 1/43.
Looking forward to any updates on the blue color. I was tweeting with a guy who visited the Honda museum and he was comparing the colors for the Alpha Tauri. He did not do a direct comparison but thought the blue had a candy property. Hopefully Michael can give us some insight.
Take care all. Happy Holidays!
