I have a question for anyone with experience with building the Revell 1/24th F1 kits. Are there any special products or techniques needed to get the tire logo decals to stick to the tires? I am working on the Jordan EJ10 and any tips regarding the tire logos would be greatly appreciated. Ken

If I recall they were a pain. I'm pretty sure I glosscoated the tires with Testors lacquer first, applied the decals once the clear was dry, then Dullcoted them. They didn't lay down all that great though and are a little hazy. I think this is more indicative of the tire material not the decals.

The tires are junk. Several aftermarket options are out there and you could see if Revell AG will send you a set of replacement tires from a later F1 kit which were much better in quality.

Yes I agree, the tires are very poor. Are you able to tell me any more about aftermarket alternatives. Ken
