I use a different technique. I attach the seat and steering wheel to some scrap sprue, paint the seat and grips with a gloss color and submurse it in a small can of baby powder. The powder adheres to the gloss turning it flat and leaves it with a soft appearance. I use a small stiff paint brush to remove the extra powder and leaves a nice finish. In these examples the paint was too think and I need strip it and start over but it gives you the idea. My battery is dying so I'll have to fix the picure and re-post..... Dave
