Just getting back into this, have about 100 kits on my shleves from sports cars to Indy and F1 - also WWII planes. Is Testor's plastic model glue still cool, or has everyone gone to some flavor of CA? Thanks. Nice to be here, as a new guy.

Good old Testers tube glue, Testers liquid glue and CA... kinda depends on the kit.

I'm a mostly CA guy. I'll also use some Tamiya on raw plastic parts before painting. Epoxy and CA on the resin kits. I use this glue called Liquid Glass (available on my store) for a lot of different stuff as well, like clear parts. It dries hard and super clear, and is water soluble, so you can thin it also. Super glue, Tamiya Liquid, and Art's Liquid Glass are my favorites

Hardly ever use Super Glue, I use a LOT of liquid cement, mostly Same Stuff (Ambroid Pro-Weld), some Testor's tube glue and Testor's Clear Parts Cement for clear items and unstressed, tiny details. Also 3 or 5 Minute epoxy where I need a lot of strength.

Thanks, guys! The last Testor's tubes I bought were purchased a few years ago, still have two sealed. I'll try them this weekend, hopefully they're still good. Mike B
