I hope to have the 1946-47 Hepburn and Bergere Novi's done by the end of this year, in the meantime here are some really cool Novi pics!

Hi Lance, Those are very, very cool. What a car! What an era of racing. Thanks for sharing those. I’ll be looking forward to your kits. Dan

Awesome brutes, for sure! The cars were tough, too! This should be a real good seller for you!

These pictures are just terrific, Lance. Glad you found them. Is the picture of the 1947 front row fooling me? I always thought it was red and cream/ivory. We sometimes forget that these were built by Frank Kurtis. Good luck with this project. Jim

When I built the 1946 winner I watched several documentaries on the race...Hepburn’s Novi was the star of the show...qualified 19th at a speed of 133.944: the pole speed?...126.471!...if you watch the race, Hepburn goes from 19th to 3rd by lap 10, then takes the lead on lap 12...alas, brake problems cause a 9 minute pit stop...came back out and moved to fourth before dropping a valve on his 123rd lap...the car was a beautiful blue with gold... So yes; I’d love to build Hep’s car... Tim

I believe it is cream and red, no idea why its colorized as blue.

Great pics! Love the front row and ( all of them really) the car in the creek. You can feel the history. Thanks for posting!

My neighbor has the steering wheel (bent) from Chet Miler’s fatal accident. I’ve seen and held it and found it pretty eerie and a little creepy.
