Dang! Do you guys ever get the modeling funk? I mean where you just can’t seem to get it right? I’m trying to fix the windshield tint on JR’s 73 McLaren for the umpteenth time and waiting for Trevor’s 956 windshield from Canada for the John Paul Jr....twiddling my thumbs and crossing my fingers...
Soooooooo, I just jumped off into Calvin’s 2018 Dallars...the kit is outstanding; only needs sanding and a tiny bit of filling...it is currently in the paint shop...Gary is supplying the decals...can anybody guess what I am trying? It is the masking job from hell! Not much luck at Indy, but a winner elsewhere...any guesses?Tim

Scott Dixon?
There's actually a lot of potentially difficult paint jobs

Not to step on Trevor's toes, DCR ran SCHROTH seat belts in 2018. Probably still running the same belts today but just in case, here are some screen grabs from victory lane at St. Pete in 2018. Figure that is the closest that I could find to Indy 2018. I have searched for still images a few times with no luck. HTH Jordan

Sebastian Bourdais began the 2018 Indycar season with a surprise win at St.Petersburg. He was on the pole at the next race in Phoenix. He was the only driver to lead laps in the first 4 races. He arrived at Indy and qualified 5th. However, he had no luck in the race; he crashed and finished 28th... I often thought this day would never come; I finally finished this build... I remember the first time I saw this car and my friend Burd said “ It looks like a moving high voltage sign”... Just noticed that I need to color in the red tail light... I wasn’t a fan of Bourdais when he was winning CART titles, but have since grown to respect his talent...he seems to be able to win with teams that other drivers can’t... A HUGE shout out to Gary at Gws Decals! At the moment I’m pretty sure he is fed up with this 2+ year headache... Thanks for following along! It’s a great kit Calvin! Tim
