Here are a coupe of Eagles from the '73 500. The first is Johncocks winner. Kit is Bill Jorgensen's resin with AMT parts. Paint is Tamiya with Indycals decals. The second is Swede Savages sister car. This car is made from "left overs" I had several Eagle/Mclarens and put together leftovers from the parts box. Decals are "leftover" indycals and kit decals. The paint is even "leftover" Tamiya, Model Master, and some Wal-Mart Special.

Very nice on both. I've got that Bill J. conversion, just haven't landed a donor just yet. One of these days!
For such and infamous race, it sure did produce some of the best looking cars, IMO. They just look like what a race car should look like, mean and fast.

Dave,
I remember that race all too well! I was home sick from school and was listening to it while it rained like hell in California too. I also remember when Swede Savage hit that wall. My older brother went to High School with Swede. NICE BUILD on both! The first Jorgensen kit I did was the 1973 winner which now sits in the Indy Museum. Bill does nice work!!!!!!!!
Best to you
Russ
