Greetings! Happy to have found this site.
I've been attending CART/Indy races since the late 80s, so that's where my interest in Indycars originates. I'm now starting to dip my toe back into the model-building pool after several years away, and I guess I have COVID-induced free time to thank/blame, as it resulted in several hours going down Indy and model-related internet rabbit holes!
I built a couple of the 1/25 AMT kits many many years ago, but they're long gone now. Most of my model-building experience is 1/24 and 1/25 muscle cars, which I actively took part in until about 15 years ago. I've recently been working with some Tameo and MA Indy kits in 1/43 scale to add to the Minichamps and UT 1/43s I've owned for awhile. We'll see where it all goes, but my interest in Indy modeling has certainly been reignited, in part due to seeing the enthusiasm for the subject and stunning pieces I've seen when browsing this site.
